What Small Chair Conversations Is
Small Chair Conversations is a father-and-son project built around interviews led by András, a young interviewer who speaks with people from different professions, communities and walks of life. Together, we are building a growing library of honest conversations for the next generation.
Each conversation looks beyond a guest’s role or achievements to explore character, effort, kindness, mistakes, confidence, resilience, responsibility, belonging and the lessons real life teaches us.
Why This Project Exists
Young people are surrounded by polished versions of success, but they rarely hear about the uncertainty, mistakes, effort and support behind it. Small Chair Conversations exists to make room for those fuller, more human stories.
We believe every child deserves someone who listens. By listening carefully to others, young people can discover that there is no single path through life—and that who we become matters as much as what we achieve.
What Makes This Project Different
Curious, Thoughtful Questions
András reviews every question beforehand and brings his own curiosity to each interview. Conversations are carefully prepared, while every answer remains genuine and unscripted.
Character Over Fame
Guests are chosen for their character, experiences and willingness to share—not for fame alone.
A Safe, Respectful Space
Every recording is planned around András’s wellbeing and enjoyment. Guests are given the time and space to speak openly and without pressure.

Who We Are
We are Tamas and András, the father and son behind Small Chair Conversations. András hosts the interviews, prepares carefully and brings his own curiosity to every conversation. Tamas works behind the camera, taking care of guest communication, planning, production and safeguarding.
Most importantly, SCC grows at a pace that keeps the project enjoyable for András. Every decision is guided by care, honesty and respect—for András, for every guest and for the young people who may carry something from these conversations into their own lives.
